How It Got Started

The Story

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is observing life from a small town perspective. Thus, Off the Beaten Path was born. That is the title of a weekly column I once wrote for a newspaper and the one I used for my own newspaper. Since I got started in journalism over 30 years ago, I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world.
